Jeremy Conaway invaded The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, N.C. on Wednesday for the “Last Cal,” a doubleheader that took the place of the Can-Am World Finals that was postponed amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
With a field of 55 World of Outlaws Late Model Series entries registered, Conaway folded the nose under in Hot Laps which put him behind the 8-Ball early. The team was able to make repairs in time for Jeremy to start on the tail of a B-Main. Unfortunately, with only the Top-2 moving on to the $12,000-to-win feature, he fell short of transferring.
In another $12,000-to-win program on Thursday, Jeremy recorded a sixth-place finish in his heat race, sending him to a B-Main for one-last shot at making the 50-lap finale. Unfortunately, Conaway would fall just short of a transfer position, ending his night.
